2nd weeks at XeerSoft

On 14th January 2013,

I have been asked for to do some tally on accounting. I have to make sure the value are the same with the given total value has given to me.  After that I continued to EDI support calls.

On 15th January 2013,

As usual, I have to ready for my EDI support calls. After that, I have been asked for to some stock checking from the system. I have to key in the stock code and justify the value whether it is correct or not.

On 16th January 2013,

From the yesterday issues and I have to solve the customer problems . Next I continued to EDI support calls.

On 17th January 2013,

I have been asked for converting the files from the web form to the PDF files. Next, I have to learn to use the inventory system from the company system. I have to attend the intern meeting and our topic is value generation. everyone have to share their opinions on this topics.

On 18th January 2013,

I learn to manage the authorize permission from user and admin. Next, I have to attend the delivery department meeting which it will be held on every 2 weeks. This meeting is focusing on the project sharing among the senior and all the incoming issues in the department. After that, we are having some activities which is house keeping day.

1st week at XeerSoft

On 8th January 2013,

I started to pick up my first called form customer.

At the same time, I have to practice xeersoft EDI system to solve customer problems. Updating my activities in the Google calender.

On 9th January 2013,

On the early day I have to install all the software required for practicing the system.

Next, I have to follow the Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2013 which that located at Pandan Lake. I feels that I'm the lucky person to have into the AGM which is it will be held once in a year and the Melacca branch also comes too. The content of the AGM is review the last year statistic and performance and target for the 2013.

On 10th January 2013,

I have been told to help them to replace the blade server from our company to the data center. From that I can see how does the blade server looks like. after that, I proceed to my work, EDI support calls. I have to attend the intern meeting every week and the day is on Thursday. I learn to create the intern meeting invitation using email. The intern meeting is more on personal sharing during the intern at XeerSoft. The intern meeting is participated by one mentor from the senior and all the intern students.

On 11th January 2013,

I have to update my Google calender. Senior asking for help to do some accounting checking. I go lunch early to send my duty notification and my Final Year Project chapter 1-5 to my supervisor and my second assessor. Next, I learn to use new software which is Teamviewer to remote customer when he/she are facing the problems. I also learn how to edit the billing template.

First Day Intership

Attend at 0850. First, i go for duty registration. Next, I introduce my self to all the staff on that day. I had been attempted to the Delivery department. I have to install the software and setting my default browser. I learn to used the EDI system and handling a call form the customer. Setting my email for the company usage. I learn how to create meeting among the internship student. Finished at 1800.
